This look was Sooo easy to do, the colours are pretty block so its just a matter of blending and applying the shadow where you want it.
Here's what I used:
Face: Maybelline pure cover mineral concealer, Bourjois delice de soleil bronzer-12 light/medium, Elf blush & bronze (the blush colour)
Eyes: Sleek primer palette- purple, Urban decay e/s-flash (inner lid & lower lash line),Grifter (inner corner), Sleek Curacao palette- Purple haze (outer lid & lower lash line), Mac eye kohl-smoulder, Rimmel lash accelorator mascara.
Lips: Revlon super lustrous lipgloss- Pink crystals
And if you're interested in other stuff I've been doing, I've posted a couple of hauls on my Youtube channel, so check them out. I decided not to post my videos on here apart from monthly fave's which is why no videos have been up...

Tanya Burr/pixi2woo inspired 'Rock chick' smokey eye
I would say that this is a simple look but I actually put quite a bit of time into the eye, applying a base, layering eyeshadow and blending, to make sure it wouldnt crease. (on the night out it did-but thats inevitable with a black smokey eye, and you might even like it that way!)
Enough rambling, heres the look:
Flash on- looking ghosty!

One thing I will say about a black smokey eye is that it can be a little harsh depending on where you're going..I wouldn't wear it in the daytime or to a family party or something, but for a night out in Camden with my friends it was perfect.
Products used:
Face: Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer-1 fair, Mac studio sculpt foundation-NC15, Maybelline dream matte powder-rose ivory, Bourjois delice de soleil bronzer-12 light/medium, Mac MSF-soft and gentle
Eyes: Illamasqua brow cake-thunder, Sleek primer palette- black, Urban decay eyeshadow- AC/DC (very old and probably discontinued, Sleek Curacao palette-matte black, Mac eye kohl-smoulder, Mac e/s-Nylon (highlight), Rimmel Lash accelerator mascara, Clinique bottom lash mascara- black
Lips: you might notice that the lip in the first picture is different from the other pictures, this is because I was experimenting before I went out but I actually settled on the lip in the first picture.
1st pic: Mac prolong wear lipcreme-overtime, other pics: Clarins instant light lip perfector- 02 Apricot
So that was my smokey eye, if you want to see Tanya Burrs youtube tutorial, here it is:

Clinique Bottom Lash mascara
Here's a few pics to show the size of the product and demonstrate it in action! :
Look how pretty that packaging is! The mascara comes in the standard Clinique boxing and the packaging of the actual product is plastic matte silver with a gorgeous metalic flowery design.
The tiny comb is perfect for coating the smallest of lashes in mascara without clumping.
Teeny tiny brush!
And here are pictures of my lashes with one thinly applied coat on my bottom lashes (I am wearing Rimmel Lash accelerator on top lashes)
So those pictures show me with a thinly applied layer of the mascara to keep a natural look and avoid any clumping, and I love the effect. I am yet to try the bottom lash mascara with an evening look but I would apply it more liberally with a smokey eye look which I think would also look nice :) I think the small comb makes it really easy to avoid clumping.
This mascara is good for me because I never really bother with mascaras on my bottom lashes. Thinking about it this is probably because I have always been attracted to volumising mascaras which usually have a large comb, making it difficult to avoid mess on the bottom lashes. So it is a nice change for me to have spidery bottom lashes too, It feels very feminine.
Do I think this product is an unnecessary novelty? Theres no question about it, this mascara is a novelty item, from the pretty packaging to the teenie tiny brush. It is unnecesary if you aren't bothered with putting in the extra effort with regular sized mascaras on the bottom lashes, but if you struggle with bottom lash smudgeing and want a really simple spidery bottom lash this mascara is perfect.
Would I repurchase? If I has some spare cash I would probably repurchase, or would possibly put it on a christmas list. It isn't an absolute essential but I find it a nice little product to own and will definately be making the most of it.
Have any of you tried Clinique bottom lash mascara? Or any other bottom lash mascaras?

e.l.f haul & Babyliss conical wand!
So I'm here today with a little (well-quite a large) e.l.f haul.
I am new to the brand e.l.f so when the UK website http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/ was doing a deal where if you spent £30 you got 50% off, I knew I had to take advantage. So I have filmed a little haul for you showing you what I picked.
ALSO my hairdresser auntie kindly bought me a Babyliss Pro conical wand (25-13mm) which I am so excited about. There has been quite a lot of hype over these wands on youtube and I have wanted one of these for a while. I have been experimenting with it this morning and here are the results:
I looked a little bit like a poodle with all the curls on top but now I have clipped it into a position I like I am really happy with the results. The conical wand was so easy to work with so I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more curly hair on me in the future!
Onto the e.l.f haul:

My life in photos: Whitstable day trip
I went up with my boyfriend to our University in Canterbury yesterday (well only my university now, he's graduated) to hand some books in, and after that we took a drive to the little seaside town 10 minuites away, Whitstable. Whitstable is a really cute place with plenty of fish resturaunts (I wouldn't reccomend going there if you don't like the smell of fish!), a pebble beach and some really unique shops. We ended up hanging out and having fish and chips on the beach front, having a browse through the shops and then heading home. Here are some pictures I took:
A little Vintage clothing hut on the beach front
Knitted bikes?!My favourite shop in whitstable: Taking the plunge. They stock all sorts of random bits and really pretty jewelery.
CUTE!
Pier
Chillin in an oyster-shell wigwam
So that was Whitstable!
